Love of Bliss Balls

Bliss balls are easily one of the most convenient, healthy and versatile treat on the market. They are great to prepare at the start of the week, or anytime really, to keep on hand in times of need. I try to keep them on hand and ready for morning tea, afternoon tea, pre work fuel and dessert! Pretty much they are a lifesaver for me 

I also love how you can customize them to tailor with ingredients that you have available in the kitchen so you don’t need to gather a whole bunch of ingredients when you are wanting to make them in an instant. 

These are by far my favorite bliss balls that I have have.

Coconutty Bliss Balls. 

Sugar Free, Vegan, GF (Option)

1 1/2 Cup Dates
1 Cup oats (GF) (or quinoa flakes, buckwheat groats)
1/2 LSA
1/2 Cup Shredded Coconut
1/4 Coconut Butter (not oil) Melted
2 TBSP Caco Nibs
1 TBSP Chia Seeds (optional)
2 Tsp Pure Coconut Essence
1 Tsp Pure Vanilla Essence 
1/2 Tsp Himalayan Rock Salt

To Make:
Boil Dates with about 1-2 Cup Water and let boil, once boiling, reduce to simmer and simmer down dates till they form a thick and saucy like texture. Take of heat and add salt, coconut and vanilla essence.

Add Oats, LSA, Chia, cacao nibs.
Mix Well. 

Add your melted coconut butter and mix again. 

One all your mixture is well mixed. Roll into balls and then roll into more coconut. 

Set to cool in the freezer for about an hour. Keep them frozen till you are ready to enjoy. This is optional but they become softer, however, I like firmer bliss balls.
